RBBQ is an on-site BBQ catering business in Tel Aviv, run by Raphael Berrebi, a registered עוסק מורשה. These terms cover using this website and booking an event. The terms of your specific event are whatever your written quote says; where the two differ, the quote wins.
The calculator gives an estimate, not a price
The price the calculator shows is a working estimate built from guest count and menu. It is not an offer and nothing on this site can be booked by pressing a button. A real price arrives as a written quote after a conversation, because meat cost moves, and because access, parking, power and the shape of your space change what an event costs to run.
How a booking is actually made
Send your event on WhatsApp or by e-mail and you get a fixed written quote back. A date is held only once fifty percent has been paid against that quote; the balance is due on the morning of the event. The minimum event is twenty guests. Until the deposit is paid the date is open to anyone else who asks for it, however far the conversation has gone.
Changing or cancelling
Guest numbers and menu can move up to the point where shopping starts, which is usually a few days out. After that, meat has been bought for your event specifically and cannot be unbought. Cancellation and refund terms are stated in your quote. If they are not written there, ask before paying the deposit rather than after.
What you provide, and what we do not control
You are responsible for access to the space, for permission to cook there, and for telling us honestly about stairs, lifts, parking and power. Grilling needs open air and ventilation. If the space turns out to be unusable for live fire on the day, or if the building refuses access, that is not something we can fix on site and the event cannot simply be moved indoors.
Kosher
Meat is bought from kosher-certified butchers, and a mashgiach can be arranged on request if you tell us early enough. Ask for it in writing and it will be confirmed in writing. RBBQ does not hold a kashrut certificate of its own and does not present itself as כשר למהדרין.
Allergies and food safety
Tell us about allergies before the menu is fixed. This is live cooking on shared grills in a space we do not own, so a guaranteed allergen-free environment is not something anyone should promise you and we will not.
This website
The photography on this site is of real RBBQ events and real food, and belongs to RBBQ. Do not republish it as your own. Blog posts and guides are written to be useful, not to be advice you rely on for a decision. Prices and menus on the site change without notice.
Which law applies
Israeli law, and the courts of Tel Aviv.
