RBBQ is a one-man on-site BBQ catering business serving Tel Aviv and Gush Dan, run by Raphael Berrebi, a registered עוסק מורשה. Registered details are at the foot of this page. This page says exactly what this website collects and what happens to it. It describes what the site does today, not what a template says a website usually does.
When you contact us
Almost every enquiry arrives by WhatsApp or e-mail. What you send is what we hold: your name, your number or address, the date, the venue and how many guests. Those messages stay in WhatsApp and in the e-mail account, and are used to quote and run your event. Once an event is being quoted, the same details are kept in a private business record so the price can be built and the shopping can be planned. That record is not public and is not shared.
What the website measures
The site uses Google Analytics 4 and the Meta pixel, including Meta’s server-side Conversions API, to see how many people arrive and from where. Both work on a cookie and an approximate location, not on your name. The site also records which contact button was pressed, on which page, from which traffic source and on what kind of device. That record contains no name, no number and no e-mail address. Its whole purpose is to tell whether the WhatsApp button works on a phone but silently fails on a desktop.
Advertising
RBBQ advertises on Facebook and Instagram. If you have seen an RBBQ ad, Meta decided that, using its own data about you. The pixel tells Meta that a visit or an enquiry happened so we can tell which ads are worth their money. You can limit that from Meta’s side in Accounts Centre, under Ad preferences, and from the browser side by blocking third-party cookies.
What we never do
We do not sell or rent your details, we do not add you to a mailing list because you enquired, and we do not send marketing messages to people who asked for a quote and decided not to book.
How long anything is kept
Enquiries and event records are kept while there is a live conversation and for as long as the tax authority requires records of a business transaction. Analytics records expire on Google’s and Meta’s own schedules. The button-click log is kept for a year and holds nothing that identifies a person.
Your rights
Ask to see what is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, and it will be done. Deleting a record of an event that has already been invoiced is limited by what the tax authority requires to be kept.
Deleting your data
To have everything RBBQ holds about you deleted, send one message from the address or number you contacted us on, to hello@rbbq.co.il or on WhatsApp to 055-257-4435, saying you want your data deleted. No form and no account needed. It is done within 30 days and you get a reply confirming it. That covers your enquiry messages, your event record, and any contact details held for quoting. Two things survive deletion, and both are outside our control. Invoiced events must be kept for as long as the Israeli tax authority requires records of a business transaction. Analytics and advertising records held by Google and Meta expire on their schedules; to clear those, use Google’s My Activity and Meta’s Accounts Centre directly.
